BioLocker is an advanced patented biometric access control technology designed to secure user access to workstations while ensuring the highest level of privacy protection.
Our solution is built on a robust chain of cryptographic protocols that combines strong authentication with highly configurable access control. Administrators can define different authorization levels based on user profiles. BioLocker follows a privacy-by-design approach by strictly separating biometric data from identity information. Biometric authentication is performed using a multi-view finger vein scanner, ensuring secure, local data capture without compromising user privacy.
For authentication, we have developed an optimized sequential distinguishers score aggregation method, enabling precise adjustment of the False Acceptance Rate (FAR) and False Rejection Rate (FRR) while minimizing the number of biometric samples required.
BioLocker has been fully implemented and successfully validated through a pilot project in a hospital environment, demonstrating its robustness, ease of use, and compliance with the stringent requirements of critical infrastructures.
